From 1989-1999, MTV Unplugged gave artists the chance to give intimate, acoustic performances of their music. Among those to take the stage were musicians like The Cure, Neil Young, Nirvana, Mariah Carey, Bob Dylan, Erykah Badu, Jay-Z and many more.
